About The Author

The Author of the story is a kind and talented guy named Trevor A. Mueller (aka trevoramueller). I’ve been reading his comic for 2 years (I know xD i’ve been reading most of the comics I talk about since the beginning of time x.x). He is also the creator of another webcomic known as @$$hole. About The story

Temple of A Thousand Tears is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel with sort of a futile Japan/Samurai type setting to it, with a little blend of fantasy as well. The main character of this story is a stoic samurai with a shady past named Abraham. Early on in the story, his family is murdered by a mysterious crew of foes, thus, leaving him with terrible memories of his past. Abraham allies with a group of people who are incidentally on a quest to find 7 enchanted items known as the keys of Abraham. These items are said to hold the key to the world of gods. However, they are not the only ones after these mysterious items.

The comic is action packed and goes in to full depth of the characters in this story.

My Take

The story for Temples is really beautiful and often sad at times. I’ve said this before, this is probably one of the most heart wrenching comics I have ever read (And this is a good thing :s. I can’t think of any other story that has almost brought me to tears besides this one x.x). But there’s a lot of attention grabbing content in this story as well! At many times, I would seriously be checking back and forth at this comic to see what happened next (Or who was going to die next x.x). Yea, there were some characters that I absolutely hoped would not die in it. It’s like a movie almost. To have a character or 2 that you root for throughout the feature xD.

I enjoy how most of the comic is either in black and white or colored in drab colors to sort of set the mood :3. And it’s awesome when There’s like blood in a page xD. It would be bright red right in the middle of the black and white colors. It kind of reminds me of Kenshin sort of :3, except I think Samurai X is extremely gorey in parts x.x. Hehehe.
